Healing Herbs: Safety and Effectiveness is an instructional program designed to provide information on the subject of herbal remedies. This program will provide a brief overview of the history of herbal remedies, ten of the more commonly used herbs, and the current regulatory dilemma revolving around herbal remedies. The quality, safety, and effectiveness of healing herbs will be discussed as well as cautions and interactions with some prescriptive drugs. Guidelines for using herbal remedies will be discussed.
