This one-day conference, part of Binational Health Week, will examine issues of health and nutrition in Mexican communities in New Jersey and Oaxaca, Mexico. The conference will explore the transnational connections between New Jersey and Mexico.

Individuals from various departments at Rutgers University, the State University System of Oaxaca, UMDNJ, and from community-based organizations and health programs will participate.

The conference is supported by a grant from the Rutgers Global Initiatives for International Faculty Exchange and Research, as well as from the School of Environmental & Biological Sciences, other programs at Rutgers, and LAZOS America
Unida.
